About the Role
Darryl Wakefield State Farm Agency is looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused
Customer Service Representative who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and building long-term
relationships.
In this role, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience by assisting customers with their
insurance needs, answering questions, maintaining accurate account information, conducting follow-up, and
helping customers understand their coverage.
You will also be expected to recognize opportunities to better protect customers, initiate appropriate insurance
conversations, and connect customer needs with available products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide prompt, professional, and friendly customer service
Assist customers with policy questions, coverage explanations, billing questions, and account-related
needs
Process and follow up on customer-requested policy changes
Proactively follow up with customers to promote satisfaction and retention
Assist with new-customer onboarding and ongoing customer relationship management
Conduct policy and account reviews to identify changes in customer needs
Identify opportunities to better protect customers through additional insurance products and coverage
Initiate appropriate cross-sell and needs-based conversations
Generate sales opportunities and appointments when additional customer needs are identified
Maintain consistent outbound customer follow-up activity
Maintain accurate customer information, documentation, and follow-up activities in agency systems
Help resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Work collaboratively with other team members to provide an excellent customer experience
Participate in ongoing product, service, sales, and professional-development training
Meet established customer service, activity, retention, and account-development expectations
Qualifications
Florida Property & Casualty insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain
Florida Life & Health insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain
Previous customer service, insurance, banking, financial services, or related experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a genuine desire to help people
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Strong follow-up and time-management skills
Comfortable using computer systems, agency software, CRM systems, and technology
Comfortable initiating conversations about additional customer needs
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to be coached and developed
Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus

Compensation
$45,000-$55,000 Total Compensation Opportunity
Competitive compensation package consisting of base salary plus performance-based incentives and bonus
opportunities.
Total compensation will vary based on experience, licensing, individual performance, and results.
